“Share for Life, Share Rice, Be Full of Merit” Project to Help Temples Affected by COVID-19

Suthirat Yoovidhya Foundation invites you to share merit channels for hungry people to fill people’s bellies through the “Share for Life, Share Rice, Be Full of Merit” project to assist temples facing shortages or affected by the COVID-19 outbreak, as well as temples that require rice to share and alleviate suffering for the poor, underprivileged children, and orphans under the temple’s care. The goal is to donate 22,500 kilograms of organic rice to 15 temples (1,500 kilograms per temple).

And the merit that everyone shares through donations will be used to buy 105 organic jasmine rice. The Foundation will cover the project’s management and transportation costs in order to support and generate revenue. It is given to farmers who have good intentions of farming chemical-free, resulting in organic rice that is safe for people to eat to the desired level.

Organic rice was distributed to five temples at the end of December, each receiving 1,500 kilograms, namely Wat Chom Sri in Sing Buri Province, Wat Sawang Arom in Nakhon Pathom Province, Wat Pho Phueak, and Wat Phai Lueang in Nonthaburi Province, and will continue to be distributed until all 15 temples are completed.
