Suthirat Foundation is an organization dedicated to community and environmental sustainability. When we discovered that the Ban Phru Jut community, led by P’Banjong, had been working on conservation for over ten years, we wanted to give the community the strength it needed to continue, so we joined in to help. This time, we brought together 50 volunteers from various parts of the country to support the community concept by learning and working to restore 3,000 seagrass plants alongside the community and youth through Goal Together project activities. All volunteers entered the community economic system learning base to bring their experiences and expertise to extract lessons and present ideas for the community to receive and use in the area to help the community become self-sufficient. As a result, conservation efforts are sustainable and ongoing in the long run.

In addition to supporting the foundation, we set a goal with P’Banjong based on the success of the seedling model to expand it into eco-tourism, which has restored over 20 rai of seagrass. Therefore, we set a three-year goal of seeing seagrass in Sikao District; it has also returned up to 50 rai.
