Developing Rice Farmers into Community Business Entrepreneurs

Suthirat Yoovidhya Foundation and Salana Organic Village (Social Enterprise) Company Limited visited the area on January 28, 2023, to carry out a project to transform farmers into community business entrepreneurs in 2023. There were representatives from the Suthirat Foundation, including Mr. Vuttipong Chacaratphong, Vice Chairman of the Foundation, Mr. Somkid Rujeepakorn, Secretary-General, and Miss Ramon Jariyathammarat, Salana Organic Village (Social Enterprise) Co., Ltd. representatives participate in a forum activity to develop members’ knowledge of entrepreneurs under the project “From Rice Growers Stepping into Community Business Entrepreneurs”.

Together with the Khao Thip Chang Community Enterprise Group, Hang Chat District, Lampang Province, led by Mr. Nanthawat Chaiyamongkol, representative of the Khao Thip Chang Group Community Enterprise Group, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sukanya Mahatheeranon and Asst. Prof. Dr. Phumon Sukwong from Chiang Mai University, Mr. Siwapong Narueban, member of the Pai District Community Network to drive a group of organic rice farmers to become a model for community business entrepreneurs that responds to sustainability and can communicate to society.
