The 21st National Local Community and Social Development (CSD) Academic Conference

Suthirat Yoovidhya Foundation and Salana Organic Village (Social Enterprise) Co., Ltd. took part in the 21st CSD Relations National Local Community Development Forum, which was organized by the Department of Social Development, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Buriram Rajabhat University, and the Local Community and Social Development Association under the theme "Development It was honored by Mr. Chaiyawat Junthirapong, Governor of Buriram Province, who presided over the meeting’s opening on February 1-4, 2023 at Buriram Rajabhat University, Mueang Buriram District, Buriram Province.

Its goal is to provide a venue for presenting work, exchanging knowledge, and strengthening networks of academic and professional collaboration in the development of local communities and society. More than 800 faculty and students from universities across the country attended the meeting. This academic conference features a variety of creative activities, including a special lecture on “Research for Development: Adaptation: Sustainability” by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Kanchana Kaewthep, Senior Research Fellow, Thailand Research Fund. The small group seminar was divided into six topics. 1. King’s science for the improvement of local communities and a sustainable society. 2. Self-sufficient economy. 3. Emerging diseases and new approaches using community power. 4. Resource Management for Food Security. 5. Resource management for food security. 5. The new generation and the elderly: dimensions of development in a multigenerational society; and 6. Social inequality.

Academic work will be presented in the form of lectures and posters, totaling 66 items, as well as academic competitions such as CSD Young Talks, mind mapping, creating creative media in the form of short film clips, and organizing exhibitions, among other things.
