 A nation’s educational system is its bedrock. The future stability of the country can be enhanced by ensuring that all young people have equal access to high-quality education. Poor education in small schools causes long-term social issues. We create a project to improve small school education as a model for other small schools. We believe quality education is essential to human development and community, society, and national development

In 2023, the Suthirat Foundation allocated 832,000 baht to improve the educational system at Wat Khao Yi San School in the Yi San Subdistrict of the Amphawa District of Samut Songkhram Province. The project aims to address three main areas: 1. Fund education and recruit three teachers to fill positions in math, PE, and project support, all of which are in short supply, 2. Support notebook computers, Webcams, tablets, TVs, and internet packages so students can access modern knowledge and teaching resources. We worked with Srinakharinwirot University’s Office of Learning Innovation to develop teacher competency for Wat Khao Yi San School, one of the educational system development projects to improve academic quality and serve as a model for small schools, and 3. Keep scholarships for good students who need money until they get their bachelor’s degree.

A good small school makes everyone happy, from kids learning with fun to waking up early to go to school. Parents know their kids will attend good schools. Teachers are happy because they have all the equipment to teach well. Children will have more study options when they are fully educated.
