Life is precious. For over eight years, the Suthirat Yoovidhya Foundation has provided the Home for Disabled Animals Foundation with food and essential equipment for handicapped animals, demonstrating their commitment to helping these animals. In addition, they staffed the first year with a team of veterinarians to care for ill animals.

The present situation has resulted in over a thousand abandoned, disabled animals, and the Home for Disabled Animals Foundation in Ban Pak Kret simply does not have the room to house all of them. As a result, the Disabled Animal Welfare Foundation, Ban Bang Len, got the idea to rehome healthy, disabled animals with the help of animals. The goal is to improve the quality of life and spirit of abandoned disabled animals in a natural setting with plenty of space for the animals to run, play, and exercise, thereby restoring the animals’ physical and mental health and allowing them to live more fully. Meanwhile, Ban Pak Kret still has many disabled animals that require close care, resulting in insufficient food for the ever-increasing population of animals.

Over the last 8 years, the Suthirat Foundation has taken into account the Home for Disabled Animals Foundation’s expenses and has thus provided food support, including equipment for disabled animals and organic rice, four times a year, 1,500 kilograms each time, for a total of 6,000 kilograms per year for more than 8 years.

In 2024, the Foundation considered the health care of disabled animals and supported the budget by having veterinarian team come in to provide care, regular health checks, and follow-up on symptoms to ensure that the animals received the most effective treatment.
