Donate Medical Equipment to Queen Sirikit National Institute of Child Health (Children’s Hospital)

Queen Sirikit National Institute of Child Health (Children’s Hospital)

The Suthirat Foundation donated medical equipment totaling 1,768,000 baht to the Queen Sirikit National Institute of Child Health (Children's Hospital).

  1. Olympus microscope model CX 23 for cancer detection in children (2 units)
  2. Fiber optic bronchoscopy equipment set (Laryngogoscope) type 5 blades LED Handle is a set of tools for examining the trachea, used in disease examination to help with intubation (10 sets)
  3. The patient’s pulse oximeter (Pulse Oximeter Masimo Set, model Rag-G) is used to measure during transport of pediatric patients after anesthesia to know the value of oxygen saturation in the blood in order to care for pediatric patients while moving from the operating room to the recovery room gently (2 machines).
  4. The Endolaser 120 laser physical therapy machine uses laser light to repair inflamed areas. It can penetrate the skin and deep tissue layers, which is highly effective in causing biological changes in tissue with modern laser technology, and it can work without causing excessive heat to the skin and tissue despite the laser’s high power (quantity 1 unit).
  5. Heart rate and vital signs monitor (Transport Monitor) model Efficia CM 150 A patient monitor is used to keep track of the patient’s vital signs while they are being transported. It is required for the transport of seriously ill patients to a ward or other unit. It can be used with patients ranging from newborns to adults (four machines).

The Foundation recognizes the importance of using these medical tools and equipment to save lives and provide young patients with access to treatment. We can all help Thai children get the treatment they need and return home to their families...
